Body Composition is a valuable tool in assessing your healthy weight and assessing your progress when you are losing weight. Body composition can be used to measure the actual body fat content of any type of individual. How much of a person's weight is actually body fat is one of the most significant factors in evaluating weight. A body builder or athlete can be overweight but not necessarily over-fat. A person can be at a normal weight but still carry too much body fat. This is why body composition can be such a important and valuable evaluation tool.
